"We are not stand-up comedians. Our show is not a passive, sitback-and-watch experience. Most of the fun we have on stage comes from our inclusion of the audience – we get suggestions from them to begin each scene we perform, and in certain instances, bring them on-stage with us to add to our performance. It's less a ‘show’ and more a party. At least it feels like one to me. This group of actors brings me right back to how I started out in comedy maybe that's why we have so much fun doing it."

Crystal Gayle, T.G. Sheppard, & Janie Fricke Concert

See Crystal Gayle, T.G. Sheppard, & Janie Fricke live in concert at the God & Country Theater Friday October 11, 2013!
Crystal Gayle first album project began a roll out of smash singles to come. “Wrong Road Again,” (her first of many hit singles with producer Allen Reynolds) became her debut Top 10 record. “I’ll Get Over You,” became her first #1 single. By her fourth album, “We Must Believe In Magic,” Crystal Gayle became the first female artist in country music history to achieve platinum album sales. Driving the engine of the album was the song that was to become her enduring career signature song to date: “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.” The glamour and the mystique of the Crystal Gayle phenomena made her an instantly “ in demand” artist. From symphony halls to Carnegie Hall…from the best kept stages in Las Vegas to the prestige of the London Palladium, one word “Crystal” crossed musical genres and oceans.
T.G. Sheppard worked his way through the record industry, and emerged in the mid-'70s as one of the leading country-pop singers, bringing the music closer to the rock-influenced, cosmopolitain sounds of urban cowboy. Cash Box magazine named him Best New Male Artist of 1976 -- so he was immediately snapped up by Warner. Sheppard became a genuine country star at Warner, paritially because the label promoted him correctly and partially because his sound -- a smooth fusion of R&B rhythms, pop production, and country songwriting -- became the blueprint for the urban cowboy movement that became country's most popular genre of the late '70s. After having two number 13 singles ("Mister D.J.," 'Don't Every Say Good-Bye") early in 1978, Sheppard released "When Can We Do This Again" in the summer. The single started a streak of 15 straight Top Ten hits that ran for the next five years. During that time, he had no less than ten number one singles: "Last Cheater's Waltz" (1979), "I'll Be Coming Back for More" (1979), "Do You Wanna Go to Heaven" (1980), "I Feel Like Loving You Again" (1980), "I Loved 'Em Every One" (1981), "Party Time" (1981), "Only One You" (1981), "Finally" (1982), "War Is Hell (On the Homefront Too)" (1982), and the Karen Brooks duet "Faking Love" (1982). Over those five years, his style rarely changed -- every record was well-crafted, highly produced country-pop highlighted by Sheppard's smooth croon. T.G. Sheppard is currently working on his newest album call "Partners In Rhyme" to be released in the near future. This new album includes duets with T.G. Sheppard and Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Kelly Lang, Ricky Skaggs, The Oak Ridge Boys, Englebert Humperdink, Lorrie Morgan, Crystal Gayle, Delbert McClinton, The Whites, Ray Stevens, Mickey Gilley, Steve Cropper, Jimmy Fortune, Janie Frickie, T. Graham Brown, Juice Newton and Wayne Jackson and the Memphis Horns.
Janie Fricke was one of the most popular female country singers of the '80s, racking a string of hits and proving herself a versatile vocalist with a particular flair for ballads. Janie Fricke had a breakout year in 1981, when she landed two Top Five hits with "Down to My Last Broken Heart" and "I'll Need someone To Hold Me (When I Cry).." Fricke had her breakthrough success over 1982-1984, when she scored six number one hits including "Don't Worry 'Bout Me Baby", "It Ain't Easy Bein' Easy", "Tell Me A Lie", "He's A Heartache", "Let's Stop Talkin" About It" and "Your Heasrt's Not In It"
