Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama in Branson Mo

The famed outdoor theatre production of The Shepherd of the Hills will return for the 2014 season. After the announcement was made in October 2013 that it would be the productions final season, organizers have announced that the show will return their 55th season in Branson, Mo. Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama tickets go on sale Monday April 7, 2014 at 9:00 AM.
At The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre, Harold Bell Wright's epic story of love, loss, power, hardship, and the true meaning of life is immortalized on our star-lit stage. It takes over 80 actors and actresses, 40 horses, a flock of sheep, several guns and rifles, an actual burning log cabin, and a vintage 1908 DeWitt automobile to make the live action performance what it is - a legend.
Since our first season in 1960, the outdoor drama has entertained millions of Branson visitors. People who came to see the show as children come back to bring their own families. The cast members exhibit the loyalty and affection they have for the story itself. Several of them have been in the drama since its inception. The Shepherd of the Hills is not just another Ozarks show - it is the story of the Ozarks.
Your adventure begins with a pre-show followed by the performance. During intermission, the entire audience is welcome to join the cast for a square dance hoedown. Once you take your seat, you're in for a thrill-ride of entertainment, and you'll be on the edge of your chair by the end!

White Water Park In Branson Mo

Experience the thrill of the new Kapau Plummet water slide this year at White Water in Branson Mo! Those brave enough to dare the drop will experience a heart-pumping, breathtaking thrill that begins at the top of a 40-foot tower.  Two encapsulated slides are the starting points for loading brave riders into a launch capsule.  Once inside, the countdown begins: 3…2…1 KAPAU!  The bottom of each slide drops out, creating a rider free fall at 70 degrees, speeding at 26 feet per second into a looping 240-foot translucent waterslide before final splashdown.  Spectators will be able to watch the riders’ rocket-like plunge and see them spiral through the loops.
White Water features 12 acres of super fun ways to enjoy summer activities for the whole family. From the little one splashing in the wading pools in Splash Island to the big kids competing in a friendly game of sand volleyball you and your family can find it all.


Load the whole family up in a huge raft and navigate the twisting and turning curves of the Tropical Twister or slide down our giant water slide Paradise Plunge into a cool pool of water. After all that excitement take a leisurely float down the Lazy River then ride the waves in our giant wave pool.

Be Part Of Setting A World Record Doing The Shindig Shuffle

Branson stars, area employees, residents, family, friends, and visitors to Branson Mo will join together on Saturday May 31 at 10:30 PM to dance the "Shindig Shuffle". Lena Hughes, co-owner of the Hughes Brothers Theatre and the visionary behind the "Shindig Shuffle" line dance says, "Anyone wishing to participate on the night of May 31 is invited to lineup on the sidewalks along Hwy 76 from Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre to the corner of Hwy 76 & Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. If you're representing a particular business or organization or just yourself we encourage you to bring banners, signs, and to wear-t-shirts." Sue Braun from the Vacation Channel says, "Turn your car radio and outside speakers to radio station My 100.1 Radio and the song will first play at 10:30 PM, and play again at 10:35 PM and at 10:40 PM."
