Dogwood Tree Flower |
This spring in the Branson, Missouri area the Dogwood trees should start blooming around March 29. The best viewing period will be from April 9 through April 23!
The best viewing areas are located in Taney and Stone counties in the Branson and Southwest Missouri area. If you take Hwy 76 west out of Branson to Cape Fair, Missouri then continue on Hwy 76 west on to Shell Knob, Missouri is one of the most beautiful drives during the Dogwood season. From Shell Knob you can turn around and come back to Branson, or go south on Hwy 39 to Hwy 86, then turn left going east on Hwy 86 until you get to Hwy 13. Turn left and go North to Branson West, then right on Hwy 76 and your back to Branson. If you decide to take the whole drive allow at least 2 – 3 hours drive time for your trip. (This includes time to stop at 3 to 5 locations during your drive) If you just go to Cape Fair, Missouri and back to Branson, you should allow 1½ hours for your drive.
