Shepherd Of The Hills Midnight Car Cruise In Branson!

The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre in Branson will again welcome car enthusiasts from all over the country for the Super Summer Cruise. The event is scheduled for August 11 - 13, 2011 and will feature hot rods, street rods, classics, and roadsters.

Visitors will be able to stroll through the shaded historic homestead for an up-close look at these spectacular cars during the Show N' Shine, which runs from 9am to 5pm each day. Also featured is great music and terrific food at this fun summer Branson event. Street Machines of Table Rock Lake, the host car club for the event, will also be on hand each day with games and activities.

Saturday night the cars strut their stuff down in Branson on The Shepherd of the Hills Expressway during the midnight cruise. The Saturday night Branson cruise runs from the intersection of Highway 76 and heading west to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and is sure to be a crowd pleasing good time! Spectators begin lining the street as early as noon for the best view of this auto parade, which is free to the public.

The Super Cruise features MAACC judging and NSRA inspections for the exhibitors, as well as cash awards, trophies and plaques. The Best of Show Awards Presentation will be held in The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre on Saturday at 5:00 PM and is included with Saturday's admission.

Missouri Wine Festival!

Join us at Chateau on the Lake Resort for The Missouri Wine Festival in Branson, Missouri! The Missouri Wine Festival Features Missouri Wines and Artisan Cheeses and is a two day celebration of National and International recognition of wines produced in the U.S.A. from the state of Missouri.

The Missouri Wine Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, April 29 & 30, 2011 at The Chateau on the Lake Resort in Branson, Missouri. The exhibit hall will open for tastings of Missouri Wines from nearly 80 wineries located in the Show Me State. Exhibitors also include artisan cheese makers, chocolatiers, gourmet foods, and fine cigars for the aficionado. Live music will be performed at the Missouri Wine Festival both days.

Medals will be awarded by our panel of wine experts to the outstanding label in multiple varietals and there will also be a juried targeted art show sponsored by The Branson Arts Council. Table Rock Lake Dam Open All 10 Floodgates!

Table Rock Lake is at is highest water level in years expecting to crest Thursday April 28, 2011 at 936 feet exceeding the flood pool level of 930 feet. This is the highest water level ever recorded in Table Rock Lake. All spillway gates are currently open at Table Rock Dam giving spectators a real water show.

Table Rock Dam is located on the White River in Southwestern Missouri eight miles upstream and Southwest of Branson, Missouri. Table Rock Lake extends 79 miles upstream along the White River and inundates areas in Missouri and Arkansas.

Large crowds of people are gathering to view the historic water flow rushing through Table Rock Dam and down through Lake Taneycomo. Be sure to take advantage of the view of Table Rock Dam at full capacity while all the flood gates are running water!
