Branson Old Time Fiddle Contest

Branson Old Time Fiddle Contest in Downtown Branson Mo! The Ozark Mountain area is well known for traditional Ozarks style music. More famous is the Ozark's fiddler playing tunes that make everyone's feet tap to the beat of the fiddle's rhythm. Now you can join in on the festive fiddlin' fun here in Branson at the Branson Landing as the Downtown Branson Main Street Association presents the 24th Annual Old Time Fiddle Contest on Saturday August 25 and Sunday August 26.

This year’s Festival, hosted by Wayne Massengale, five-time Branson Fiddler of the Year champion, is in the "Ozarks Music & Culture Tent" at Awberry Parking Lot on the corner of Atlantic and Commercial street in Downtown Branson Mo. There is no charge to compete in the championship fiddling contest. Registration begins at 8:30 AM Saturday, August 25, 2012.

Bring the whole famil and join us for a FREE Jam Session & Gambler’s Draw competition kicks off the festival on Friday August 24, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

The Branson Old Time Fiddle Contest will be held Saturday August 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with the Old Time Fiddle Contest finals are on Sunday August 26, Sunday, the festival offers a Gospel Celebration hosted by Bob Hubbard, founding member of The Jordanaires and The Foggy River Boys. Live gospel music by Farnum Family including mom, dad and kids are special music guests for the Gospel segment. The Branson Old Time Fiddle Contest Finals will begin following the Gospel Show.

The Old Time Fiddle Contest events start at 10:00 AM on Saturday and noon on Sunday! The Fiddle Festival contest stage will be in a large tent that will be set up in Awbery Parking Lot.
